How to find your saved posts on Bluesky (and keep the links that matter)

Bluesky added private bookmarks, which it calls Saved Posts, in September 2025. To save a post, tap the bookmark icon under it, next to the like button. To see what you saved, open the menu and choose Saved. Menu layouts change between app versions, so if yours looks different, check Bluesky's help pages.

This guide covers where to look, who can see your saved posts, why one may stop opening, and how to copy a post's link and keep it outside the app. Linkeeper is an iPhone and iPad app that saves links; it has no connection to Bluesky and does not import your saved posts.

How do I save a post on Bluesky, and where do I find it?

  1. 1Open the post and tap the bookmark icon under it, beside the like button.
  2. 2To see your saved posts, open the menu and choose Saved.
  3. 3To remove one, tap the bookmark icon on that post again.

Saved posts belong to your account, so the same list should appear when you sign in on another device. If you cannot see a Saved entry, update the app first; the feature does not exist in older versions.

Can other people see what I saved on Bluesky?

No. Bluesky describes saved posts as private: the author is not notified and your account does not appear in a list of people who saved the post. A like, by contrast, is public.

Why can't I find a post I saved?

  • You are signed in to a different account. Saved posts belong to one account.
  • The post was deleted, or the account that wrote it was deactivated, so it no longer opens.
  • You liked it instead of saving it. Likes and saved posts are separate lists.
  • You saved it before the feature existed. Bookmarks started in September 2025; before that people used workarounds such as replying with an emoji to themselves.
  • The list is long and sorted with the newest first, so an old post means a lot of scrolling.

The common thread: a saved post is a pointer, not a copy. If the original goes away, so does what you wanted from it. For anything important, write down the key point next to the link.

Can I organize saved posts on Bluesky?

Reviews at launch described the feature as basic, with no folders or tags. Check your own Saved screen to see whether your version has changed. If you need to sort by topic, or find a post by a word you remember across everything you read, you need a separate place for the links.

How do I copy the link of a Bluesky post?

  1. 1Open the post and tap the three-dot or Share control under it.
  2. 2Choose the option to copy the link to the post, or the one that opens the iOS share sheet.
  3. 3Paste it into Notes or a chat with yourself, or send it to a link app as described below.

Option names can differ between versions. A Bluesky post link opens in a browser too, so anyone can use it, including on a computer.

How do I keep a Bluesky post in Linkeeper?

Linkeeper keeps links on your device, in a library you can search by title, tag, note or saved text, and it does not need an account.

  1. 1Copy the post's link as shown above.
  2. 2Open Linkeeper and tap + in the Library header to open the add screen.
  3. 3Tap Save copied link. Linkeeper reads the clipboard only when you tap, shows a preview, and tells you if that link is already in your library. iOS may ask you to allow pasting.
  4. 4Add a short note, such as what the post said, then save. Tags and collections can be added later.

If the app offers the iOS share sheet, you can instead choose Linkeeper there and save without opening the app. If Linkeeper is not in the share row, add it to the share sheet first.

One honest limitation: Linkeeper reads a title and thumbnail from the page itself, and a social post page does not always give an app much. The card may show little more than the web address, so a one-line note is what makes it findable later. For the same situation on other apps, see how to find your bookmarks on X and how to save Threads posts.

Should I use Saved Posts or a link library?

They work together: Saved Posts is one tap inside the app, a link library is for the things you want to find again from one search box. For the general case, see how to find a saved link on iPhone.
