How to find your saved posts on LinkedIn (and keep a list you can search)

To see what you saved on LinkedIn, tap your profile picture in the app and look for Saved posts. On a computer it sits under your profile card, often labelled Saved items or My Items. LinkedIn renames and moves this entry between redesigns, so if the label differs on your screen, look for the closest match, or check LinkedIn's Help Center for the current layout.

Saved posts are easy to collect and hard to search. This guide covers where to find the list, the usual reasons a saved post seems to be missing, and how to keep your own copy of the links, including a Linkeeper setup that works from the iPhone share sheet.

How do I save a post on LinkedIn, and where do I find it again?

  1. 1On the post, tap the ⋯ menu and choose Save. The same menu shows an option to unsave it later.
  2. 2To open your list in the iPhone app, tap your profile picture and look for Saved posts in the menu that opens. In some versions it is inside your profile, under a Resources section, and may be labelled Saved items or Saved posts and articles.
  3. 3On the website, look under your profile card on the left for Saved items. If you cannot find it, linkedin.com/my-items/saved-posts/ is widely reported to open the list directly, though LinkedIn can change that address.
  4. 4Saves belong to your account, so the same list appears wherever you are signed in.

Why can't I find a post I saved on LinkedIn?

In rough order of how often they happen:

  • You are signed in to a different account. Saves belong to one account, so check which profile picture you see.
  • You saved an article, not a post. Articles can be listed separately from posts, so the other view may hold what you want.
  • The author deleted the post. It then disappears from your list too, and LinkedIn has no copy to restore.
  • The menu moved. The entry is renamed or relocated often, which makes it feel as if the list vanished.
  • It is buried. Guides report there is no search inside the list, so a save from months ago can take a lot of scrolling.

The common thread: a LinkedIn save is a pointer to a post, not a copy of it. If the author removes the post, what you wanted goes with it.

Can I export my LinkedIn saved posts?

LinkedIn lets you request a copy of your account data from its settings. Guides report that the archive includes a file of saved items, but that it holds only links and dates, not the text or the author's name. Which files you get, and how long it takes, is LinkedIn's call, so check the current options in your settings.

If you get links back, open the ones that still matter and re-save them somewhere you control, as below. You rarely need all of them.

How do I keep my own list of LinkedIn posts?

Three options, from the simplest:

  • Keep using LinkedIn's Save. Fine for “I will read this tomorrow”. Just do not treat it as an archive.
  • Copy the link to Notes or a message to yourself. On the post, open ⋯ and choose the option to copy the link, then paste it with a few words on why you saved it. Searchable, but it grows into one long note.
  • Send the link to a link app. Your LinkedIn posts then sit next to everything else you save, in one search box, independent of LinkedIn's list.

Whichever you choose, write a few words of context when you save. “Post on salary negotiation scripts” is findable next year; a bare link is not. For anything you cannot afford to lose, copy the key point into your note, because the link stops working if the author deletes the post.

How do I save a LinkedIn post to Linkeeper?

Linkeeper stores the link, not the post, but it makes your list searchable and keeps it available offline. It works from the iOS share sheet.

  1. 1In the LinkedIn app, open the post's ⋯ menu and look for a Share option that opens the iOS share sheet (often “Send in a private message” and “Share via…”). If you only see Copy link, copy it, then open Linkeeper and add the link from the clipboard.
  2. 2Choose Linkeeper in the share sheet. The link is saved without opening the app; if Linkeeper is not in the row of apps, scroll to the end and tap More to add it. How to add an app to the iPhone share sheet shows how.
  3. 3Open the Library tab. Linkeeper has no special handling for LinkedIn, so these links are grouped under “Other sites” in the Source filter. To keep them together, add your own tag such as “LinkedIn” on the link's detail screen.
  4. 4To find one later, use the search bar. It matches titles, your notes and the website address, so typing “linkedin” lists the links from LinkedIn. Search works offline.
  5. 5To see every LinkedIn link together without a tag, choose Filter at the top of the Library and sort by website.

One honest limitation: Linkeeper reads a link's title and thumbnail from the page itself, and some pages do not hand that to an app. If a LinkedIn card shows only the web address, open the link or add your own note on its detail screen so it is still searchable by what you remember.

Should I keep using LinkedIn's Save too?

Yes, if it suits you. It is one tap and you can use both. A link app is for the posts you want to find later together with everything else you saved. See how other apps handle the same problem in how to find your saved posts on Reddit and how to find your bookmarks on X, and for the general case, how to find a saved link on iPhone.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my saved posts on LinkedIn?
In the iPhone app, tap your profile picture and look for Saved posts. On the website, look under your profile card for Saved items. The label and place change between redesigns, so check LinkedIn's Help Center if yours looks different.
Why did my saved LinkedIn post disappear?
Common reasons: the author deleted the post, you are signed in to another account, you saved an article that is listed separately, or the menu moved. A save is a pointer to the post, not a copy.
Can I search my saved posts on LinkedIn?
Guides report that the saved list has no search box, so finding an old save means scrolling. Keeping your links in an app with search avoids that.
Can I save a LinkedIn post to a link app on iPhone?
Yes. Use the post's share options to reach the iOS share sheet, or copy the link. In Linkeeper the link is saved without opening the app and can be tagged, noted and searched.
Does Linkeeper recognise LinkedIn links?
Not specially. They appear under “Other sites” in the Source filter and can be found by searching “linkedin” or by a tag you add yourself. Linkeeper saves the link and tries to fetch a title and thumbnail, which not every page provides.
