About Linkeeper

Last updated October 11, 2026

Linkeeper is an iPhone and iPad app that saves links from any app in one tap and keeps them in one organized, searchable library to read later, made by Đào Văn Thương, an independent developer in Vietnam. A link shared to Linkeeper from the Share menu is captured without opening the app, with its title and preview image filled in and tags added automatically. Links, tags and collections are stored on the device first, so search works offline; an account is optional and only needed to sync between devices.

Key facts

Name
Linkeeper (App Store name: “Linkeeper - Read Later”, App Store ID 6786774815)
Category
Productivity — link saver, bookmark manager and read-later app
Platforms
iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15.1 or later. An Android version is planned but not released. No Mac or web app.
Languages
The app is available in English, Vietnamese, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. This website is in English and Vietnamese.
Where data lives
On the device. Links, tags, collections and hidden-vault items are stored in a database inside the app, and saving, searching and reading work offline. Only if you sign in (with Apple or Google) are links, tags and collections synced through the developer’s server so they appear on your other devices.
Main features
Save from the Share menu or by pasting a link; automatic title, preview image and tags; collections that can be shared as a read-only web page; instant search, including without Vietnamese diacritics; a Read Later list with a daily reminder; reader view, listen aloud and highlights with notes; Rediscover (one saved, unread link comes back each day); import of saved posts, liked videos, read-later exports and browser bookmark files, read on the device; a hidden vault locked with a PIN and Face ID; a Home Screen widget; JSON backup and restore.
Account
Optional. Every feature except sync works without signing in.
Analytics
Anonymous usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are always on. They use a random per-install identifier and never include links, titles, notes or tags. No advertising identifier and no tracking prompt.
Pricing model
Free to download, and saving links is always unlimited. Imports, collections and hidden-vault links have free limits, which a short ad you choose to watch can raise a little. Linkeeper Unlimited is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription: it removes the limits and the ads and includes sync. Prices are shown in the App Store for each region.
Availability
Available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

Why Linkeeper exists

People save links all day — a video to watch later, an article, a recipe, a product — and each app keeps its own saved list. Weeks later the link is hard to find: screenshots pile up, notes get forgotten, and every saved tab works differently.

Linkeeper puts every link in one place, whatever app it came from, tags it automatically and finds it again in a second, even without an internet connection.

It is built local-first: the library on the device is the real copy, not a cache, so nothing depends on an account or a server unless you choose to sync.

Privacy in short

  • Your library stays on your device unless you sign in to sync it. You can sign out any time or delete your account and all synced data in the app.
  • Anonymous usage statistics and crash reports go to Google Firebase. They are always on and never contain your links, titles, notes or tags.
  • Ads appear only when you choose to watch one at a free limit, and are non-personalized. Linkeeper Unlimited has no ads.
  • Purchases are handled by Apple and verified through RevenueCat, which never receives your name, email or links.
  • Feedback is sent only when you write it and tap Send.

Questions about Linkeeper

What is Linkeeper?

Linkeeper is an iPhone and iPad app that saves links from any app in one tap and keeps them in one organized, searchable library to read later. It is on the App Store as “Linkeeper - Read Later”.

What does Linkeeper do?

It captures a link from the Share menu without opening the app, fills in the title and preview image, tags it automatically and lets you find it again instantly, even offline. You can sort links into collections, read them in a clean reader or have them read aloud, highlight passages, import saved posts and bookmark files, and keep private links in a locked hidden vault.

Who made Linkeeper?

Linkeeper is made by Đào Văn Thương, an independent developer in Vietnam. He also makes Lockboxy, Minivid, Ringsy, Talkzy, Stampzy, Baton and Hearnote.

Does Linkeeper work offline?

Yes. Links are stored on the device, so saving, searching and reading saved pages work without a connection. Fetching a new link’s title and preview image needs the internet.

Do I need an account, and where is my data stored?

No account is needed. Your library is stored on your iPhone or iPad. Signing in with Apple or Google is optional and only syncs your links, tags and collections between your own devices.

How much does Linkeeper cost?

It is free, and saving links is always unlimited. Linkeeper Unlimited is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription, that removes the free limits on imports, collections and the hidden vault, removes ads and includes sync. Prices are shown in the App Store.
